The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic that houses the sacred tooth relic of the Lord Buddha , the famous Kandy View Point that offers the most beautiful view of the Kandy city, and Kandy Lake are must visits.

From May to October Trincomalee is the perfect place for watching the magnificent whale. Koneswaram temple on a cliff overlooking the sea, the historic masterpiece of Fort Of Frederick and Kanniya hot water springs are other interesting places to visit.

Yala National Park is filled with Southern magic. Nestled in a land steeped in history, the Yala National Park is home to water sources such as streams, tanks, rock pools, and lagoons that lure herds of elephants to the park. Get on a safari jeep and ride to the heart of an exquisite elephant picture: elephant families reveling on the grassy carpets… elephant mothers feeding their babies… Baby elephants frolicking around… Trumpets and trunks and you’re in love! On your way, you could also see wonderful Sri Lankan leopards chillaxing in a stone’s throw away from the main path. And, don’t be surprised if a sloth bear crosses your path and retreat into the silences of the woods. Herds of spotted deer and sambhar getting cozy in their familiar places, braces of water fowls, and pods of gray hornbills are other highlights of this happy place.

Little Adam’s Peak is a beautiful climb between tea plantations that offers wonderful views from the top. Ella Rock offers a beautiful walk along tea plantations and railway tracks. Demodara Nine Arch Bridge is an olden masterpiece exhibiting fine architecture. Ravana Ella Falls and Ella Gap Waterfall are two of the most highlighted waterfalls in the area.

So it’s the place where many of your beachy dreams come true be it a quiet beach stroll, swim in the crystal waters, or a warm sun bathing. And, in the evening the sun sinks into the sea after a most glorious show of ethereal hues. Also, you can a have a surf in the turquoise waves of the Bentota sea.

The stilt fishermen on stilts sticking up from the water is a sight that improves the tropical feel of the picture. The seas in Mirissa are also ideal for surfing.
